    Holiday Pay

Christmas Eve & Day are 2 of the holidays that I get paid for. I have 1 client who only comes on tues/wed. I am correct in assuming I would not be charging her holiday fees since these days do not fall on her regular scheduled days? I didn't charge her for Thanksgiving either, nor did she offer. LOL I guess I feel kinda bad because holidays never seem to fall on her days, but my other part timer who comes on Mon wed, and fri gets hit with them all! LOL I'm sure though that will change for next yr though..

Just wondered what you all do for this.

I charge them if they are here for that particular holiday. You are right, seems like some get hit with all and then others don't!

I only charge if it is their day. I dont think its fair to say its christmas you owe me an extra twenty (or whatever it is). It stinks how the holidays fall but oh well.

I once had 2 families that switched around their days, so the days I was babysitting wouldn't fall on any Holidays- enough of that!!! I only take on fulltime children now or they pay fulltime.

My part-timers pay for a minimum of 3 days a week, I don't care what day they come...and they do switch it up Therefore, none have to pay for holidays unless there were four paid holidays in a week...yea right LOL.
