    Well That Was Weird

    DCM got here and DCB ran up to her "I LOST MY TOOTH!"

    It's his first. He apparently lost it at lunch...and didn't tell me?

    Furthermore...he threw it on the floor. Or so he says. I don't totally believe him because he's been known to come up with interesting stories that aren't quite true before. We looked on the floor and couldn't find it.

    I'm hoping mom doesn't think I'm terrible because he didn't tell me he lost his tooth!

    Did he have a space in his mouth? Maybe he swallowed it and didn't know?

      oh yeah totally obvious space.

      I thought that about swallowing it but he says he took it out of his mouth and dropped it on the floor...

      (I'm still a little hurt that he didn't even TELL ME!) (Silly child)

        :: STINKER!

        I had a child do this with a pee accident once. playing at the table before pickup, not say a word to me, and then PROUDLY announce it to her Mom. WHAT?

        My DS/almost 13 with ASD did this when he lost a tooth at school. He put it in his pocket and didn't say a word. Went home, didn't tell me, put it under his pillow....annnddd there is no tooth fairy. KIDS!

            btw when I say totally obvious, I mean once he opened his mouth and showed it off. He doesn't open his mouth much when he talks and I just happened to not notice it. Probably helps that the adult tooth is already grown in behind it.
