So her 2 dcks were total monsters this afternoon. When dcm picked up, we explained the situation, (her kids had been breaking toys, throwing toys at other kids, and one even kicked my ds). Instead of being passive about it like most parents seem to be, she turned and talked to her kids and gave them what-for! Not in a mean way or anything but let them know this kind of behavior will not be tolerated and that they should be grateful that they have such nice babysitters who love them so much. She made them both apologize to us and grounded them for their nasty behavior. I have never been so proud of a parent for standing her ground and BEING A PARENT! You go girl!happyface

Mark it on the calendar....seriously.
We can have so many rough events occur with day care, that a moment like this should be remembered. Positives like this help keep us going!

That's a great moment! I have a lot of really great dcm's n dcds but I seem to always come on here to complain about the one difficult one. It's nice to hear the positive side of all of this! Thank you for the reminder.Comment
