Does anyone eat 6 small meals a day?

Trying to start a healthier lifestyle and also lose weight. I joined WW a couple weeks ago and this is my first real week on it.

I made a menu last week with six small meals a day on it. I have already eaten 2 and feel sooooo full. The thought of eating more is making me feel bleh.

My times are 6:00, 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 3:15 or so and then whenever we eat dinner.

Already ate at 6:00 and 8:00, now ready for my 10:00 but don't want my stomach to start hurting from being to full.

Does anyone else eat small meals throughout the day and if so how do you get over that feeling too full feeling?

    thank-

    I do!
I get to avoid the hungry feeling which helps me avoid over eating!
    I eat at 2 1/2 to 3 hour intervals.
I don't get the hungry feeling often but I also don't feel like I'm eating too much.
What are you eating? Maybe your meals are too big?
What do your serving sizes look like?

I do but I replace my first 2 meals with juice instead of an actual meal. I eat right along with my DC now and we eat 5 times during the day (breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, supper) and then I eat dinner with my family.

By replacing my breakfast and am snack with juice and replacing some of my calories with fresh raw veggies my "meal" feels more like a snack but ties me over until the next meal.

PS by juice I'm referring to making juices out of fresh fruits and veggies at home that still have the nutrients and calories that I need. Sometimes I'll buy them pre made but not often.

        I eat every day at:
        7:00a.m.
        10:00a.m.
        1:00p.m.
        3:30p.m.
        6:00p.m.
I use to eat again at 8:00p.m. but I'm trying to lose the last ten pounds. To be honest I'm never hungry at 8:00p.m. so it wasn't hard to cut that out.
I've lost 85 pounds since January.Ten more pounds and I'll be at my goal weight of 115!!!
Good luck on your weight loss journey

          You shouldn't be eating a meal-more a snack.

          I have a protein shake at 5:30
          couple of eggs at 8
          piece of fruit at 10
          protein and salad at 12
          veggies at 2:30-3
          dinner at 6-6:30
handful of nuts or 1/2c dry cereal at 8

            Here is basically my breakdown:
            Serving Sizes:
            Protein: palm of one hand
Starchy complex carbs: one cupped hand
Complex carbs from fruits and veggies: two cupped hands together
Healthy fats: one scant handful of nuts, 1 to 2 Tbsp of oil

            How my meals work:
            6 small meals- 2 ½ to 3 hours apart
Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up
Eat a combination of lean protein and complex carbs at each meal
Eat 2-3 servings of healthy fats a day
Limit starchy carbs to 2-4 servings a day

            So an example would be:
breakfast: one egg and one egg white with 1/2 of cup of oatmeal with fruit in it (1/2 cup before its cooked)

AM snack: Half a turkey sandwich with raw spinach and tomatoes

            Lunch: Salad with salmon

PM snack: apple slices with peanut butter

Dinner: some type of meat with rice and veggies

After Dinner Snack: Plain greek yogurt with almonds

Its really not that much food at each meal. The portion sizes definitely keep me from getting too full but I also dont really get hungry.

              I forgot to add...
When I eat,it's very light. You may be eating too much each time.
Here's what I will eat today.
Breakfast- 1/2 cup egg beaters, small homemade granola bar,1 cup of milk,1/2 cup blueberries.
              Snack-1 string cheese,1/2 apple.
              Lunch- 4oz. cottage cheese,6 crackers,1 cup carrots,1/2 apple.
              Snack- 1/2 cup of cucumber.
              Dinner- 4oz chicken,1/4 c. cous cous,2 cups of salad,crystal light drink.
Sometimes I feel full when I'm eating lunch because when you eat real foods you actually are eating more filling foods.
Plus if you are drinking a lot of water it will take you awhile for your metabolism to get used to burning calories all day.

I eat 3 main meals and 2-3 snacks so I guess you would call that 6 meals???

I just rejoined WW a few weeks ago. Lost 30 lbs. the first time I did it (just about to goal) and then tried to restart last year and only lost 20 lbs. and gave up. I am hoping to stick with it this time!!! I do WW points plus and try to do a 6-2-6-3-7-2 split of my 26 points. If I have a little more at one meal I deduct from the others or skip my night time snack. A few zero point items help me fill it in too.

That doesnt sound like too much to me. Maybe space them out closer to 2 1/2 to 3 hours and drop one meal if need be??
                    somedays I only eat 5

usually it means 6 small meals spaced evenly during the day to avoid highs and lows of blood sugar. It looks like you will have 1large meal in the evening this way. I would go breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack all evenly space through out the day
                      It:: will wait

I just started weight watchers also. This is my 2nd week. Are you following the simple start? I would wait 2.5 to 3 hours between eating & never longer that 4 hours. That is what my leader suggests and it has been good for me. I lost 2.2 pound the first week. I know its not much but I was very proud because I have done everything (even g-bypass yes I lost weight but after 10 years I have put back on almost 50 lbs.) and this is the first time I remember making good choices.
