    Science Experiments You've Tried?

I did the Ivory soap in the microwave this a.m. and the kids loved it! Then we put it into our smaller sensory tub, added a little bit of water for some good messy fun.
Next week I want to do the Mentos/Diet soda experiment, and the dancing raisins.
Are there any simple and fun ones you've done that the kids liked? When we have our Hawaii week, we'll be making volcanoes in our sandbox.

We did the one where you make "goop" out of cornstarch and water and green food dye. It was awesome!!

If you hit it, it seems solid. If you let your fingers sit on it, the slowly sink in and it's fluid.

We also liked to grow Lima bean sprouts and grow those little foam capsules in water. That was super easy and fun.
