    Problem solved itself....

Sooo, I recently had an abundance of interviews & took on new children that would put me 1 DCK over due to current DCG coming 3 days a week. DCH has been coming in early to assist these days, but it's taking it's toll. (I cannot term her, she is a dream child, her DCD is in the hospital & may loose his leg not to mention, a tree fell on DCM's car during a storm the other day. She pays on time & ahead. She is struggle keeping it together.)

I wasn't sure what to do. Meanwhile I have a few families who have to be reminded weekly to pay their fees. One DCD has stock in *Excuses R Us* & was told DCG cannot come back until fees are current. I got a text from him after 11pm with a copy of a check for $500 someone wrote out to him. The text said, "I just got this & can't cash it until tomorrow afternoon. So can I bring her in the morning?" My reply came when I woke up. No. He replied he was giving his two week notice. Problem solved....

:: "Excuses R Us"-love it. I need to use this with one of my dcf's. I just don't understand how some parents think that we can just get paid late, like we don't have any bills.

I'm glad your problem solved itself and kudos to sticking to no pay no come!

keep us updated. i would imagine dad may try and backtrack now that you told him no.

anyway, he is being ridiculous. It would be easier to cash it and show up a bit late with cash in hand than go through the trouble of finding a new daycare. I am guessing that $500 check was no good and he wouldn't have had the money tues either. to save face, he termed.
