More reasons for me to homeschool and also why I have a very loose schedule for my DCKs. I want the kids to move and burn energy so they are tired! I don't believe they should sit still all day. My schedule revolves around when we eat and nap. Everything else is as I feel they need like for outside or crafts or independent play
Even when I was in school I had a hard time sitting still and it only got worse as I got to high school. College wasn't as bad because I set my own schedule but I would always be tapping my pencil or my foot or moving around in my seat. I still do it now and I can't just sit still doing nothing. -
It's impossible for me to be idle also! Even if I'm sitting, I have to be doing something. Sewing, on the computer, doing paperwork, whatever. Even if I'm watching a movie, I MUST have something in my hands. So I sympathize completely with my "fidgety" kids.Comment
