Cake Users

I like using Cake, but I'm having a problem. When parents sign in on my iPad, the picture is always dark. On my computer the picture is perfect. User error, I'm sure. My iPad is new... But I can take pictures okay, and it shows the parent and their face, just doesn't seem to record it. It records a black picture.

surprised you got that far I cant even figure out how to add a child to the program...

Huh,... I haven't had that happen yet.

I do have issues with a couple parents signing in on my i-pad but it not showing that they signed in on the desktop..:confused:

I had a few mornings too where I could not get the sign in/out kiosk app to open. Awesome....when that is why I need it

I also find that there are a couple glitches with my templates for fees and it isn't working correctly. :confused:

I paid for 3 months of it but honestly, I am thinking of canceling or not renewing when my 3 months are up.

I like the program and think it has GREAT potential but the tiny issues take too long to be addressed by anyone that it isn't worth it.

I haven't used it this week at all for sign in's and I am noticing less stress and trouble over all so I think I might just be done.

I was more successful at contacting them on their FB wall. It took a day but someone did get back to me and helped me.

I would use the free version until they get the other stuff squared away. For me, $5 a month just to be able to check kids in/out each day isn't worth it. If everything else worked I'd pay the $5 a month for the kiosks, check in/out part, daily logs AND the other $5 a month for electronic payments.

I want Cake to work so bad. It would save us so much paper and ink... with the daily reports. The next cheapest thing that I know of for daily reports is Life Cubby ($75 per month). Cake has potential but it has been very frustrating to deal with.

I also agree!

I am going to make note of all the "complaints" we've had with Cake and send an e-mail or FB message to the Cake tech team.

Maybe they will do some fancy fixing so they have happy customers instead of a ton of trial users that never come back.
