Constant Diarrhea

I have a child who has constant diarrhea and I mean green and watery no form at all. everyday this happens, she really doesn't have a fever 99.9 but I've sent her home twice. Mom gives her fiber powder in her juice cup and Imodium nothing helps this kid what can be causing this I'm so tired of dealing with her diarrhea. It goes straight through her diaper and paints. I've even tried yogurt with probiotic.

My mom thinks she has worms she eats food so fast you would think she ever eats but she does! She's also a year and a half old.

Idea's suggestions?

Lactose intolerant. Also if mom thinks she has worms she needs to take her to the doctor. They are contagious.

food allergies/intolerances. Gluten, dairy, soy are the top culprits.

Send her to her pediatrician.

It's not our job to diagnose or fix. It's moms.

The pediatrician is trained to figure it out.

It could be any one of a variety of things causing the diarrhea. I agree that she should be seen by a doctor if it's not getting better.

About the immodium and fiber powder. I'd not go that route. I'd start her on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, dry toast). It's a more natural way of dealing with the diarrhea. I have IBS and I take Immodium fairly often, but it can also really mess up one's system. And powdered fiber stuff (like Metamucil) actually causes gut issues in me (not sure why).
