Daycare Food Programs in California

Hello all,

I live in CA & want to get info on other food programs other than the state. We have a 2 tier system here where tier 1 gets decent reimbursement for meals while tier 2 gets scraps. Guess which tier I'm in! I've tried googling it, but I am only finding the state & I know they're others because they said you can only be a part of one.

There's always Beanstalk, but the reinbursment is not worth the time and paperwork...

A friend of mine was involved in the state food programs and he doesn't have a very positive opinion on them. They don't work properly and are not really suited to the people's needs. I am afraid that the reimbursement really isn't worth the paperwork (as mentioned above). Here's an interesting site about California that might help you. I hope you'll find a good program.
