Beware of This Call

Saturday morning I got a call from this phone number 586-321-7652 he tells me he is someone from my past and that he knows my husband and I. I said II thought he had the wrong number. I didn't know him he said he hadn't told me who he was. He then proceeded to ask where my "man" was. I told him i didn't know who he was and didn't have time for his bs. It sounded eerily similar to a call someone else had posted about. (Tried to find the post but couldn't) So I looked up the number on who's calling me, it's a Michigan number and the comments were women who had recently posted childcare ads on Craigslist. Some mention him asking personal and sexual questions. It's kinda scary!!!! I don't know if he is a predator or some one prank calling but it's more than enough for me to no longer post my number, address, or personal info on Craigslist.

I never post personal info and I still get weird calls. Mainly "we need your ss number to access your credit card account because you have a late payment" ha nope. I don't even have the credit card you are asking about.

So I rarely answer my phone unless I expect a call or I know the number. Everyone else can go to voicemail

I posted an ad on CL wanting to buy 2 used pack n plays, I had a person text me 3 times in the middle of the night...2-3 ish, who the heck does this? i called back at 6:30 am after the last one and told them never to contact me again, I figured they would be asleep and would get woken up like I did....they haven't texted or called back.::

I posted one ad on CL about 3 years ago. A guy called and asked if he could pay me to change his diaper. (Insert gag icon here). The next time he called, I recognized the number and let my husband answer. That didn't stop him, he called for two or three weeks, I just never answered it again. I haven't run an ad on CL since then.

Sorry, just an opinion, but I avoid craigslist for this reason. It is 50 50 chance that the reply is from a total total CREEPSTER.

That was my first and last cl. Hubby wanted me to run an ad to sell his truck, and I refused. Too creepy.
