    Fire walls?

I don't know if this is the right forum but, in the construction of a residential daycare where do the fire walls have to be? For instance 4 individually licensed rooms but only 2 will b beside each other. So my question is that does the wall separating the room have to b fire proof from floor to roof. Or do all four walls of all the rooms have to fire proof. State we r in is indiana

Typically it's between the residential area and a garage or boiler room or something that could combust. It allows you a period of time to extinguish before the structure is taken over. Inside walls don't usually need to be, but I would check with your local code enforcement as this is completely individual to your state, county, city, town, etc.
