Worth a call or wait till pick up?

This is probably a stupid question(wouldn't be the first time) but this 3 yo dcg was crying when she used the bathroom right before naptime. Then she just got up and used it again and cried again. It didn't bother her to use it this morning.
I looked as best I could considering she wouldn't allow me near enough. Her bottom is red so I had her apply a little Desitin with aloe and vitamin E(only because as I said she won't let me near her bottom). I don't think it is a UTI(not peeing a lot for her) but then I'm no doctor. I think it's because she probably needs to be cleaned up better. Should I call dcm or wait till she comes for pick up?

If it were me, i would call or text and let mom know the situation. Crying about using the bathroom could be for any number of reasons, some more severe than others. As a mom, I would for sure want to know sooner rather than later!
