    I would do a sandbox in the area I have that is still dirt. Some sand would be tracked on to the grass, but it would filter through. Can't be vacuumed, but can be swept of use a blower. Some amount of rain will go through too, don't know how much yet, may not for a while, we have drought conditions here in Southern California .

      So lucked out with that playhouse! It belonged to neighbors that didn't want to move it, so we just had to bring it next door to our house.

      We have painted it a few times, and had to replace the floor, but it's been great.

      My son built the deck for it
