    What is Cake?

    I see the thread on it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what it is. First I thought it was a weight loss app (body parts?) Then I thought it might be daycare related-though I'm not sure how.

    Can someone clue me in please?

      Have no idea but evidently everybody else does on that other thread.

        It's sweet and fluffy and has a delicious creamy icing. It comes in large or cup size and generally two flavors. And it's also a 90's band. I enjoy both.

        ::::::

        (does sound tech-y, which I avoid like the plague)

          It's a child care management software program. It's similar to MMK but has several more features such as sign in/out kiosk that parents use a PIN to sign in/out etc.

          Here is the link to their site https://cakechildcare.com/

              I don't even know what MMK is? ::

              Then again, I don't even know how to post a picture here. I could learn but just don't feel like it.

              I only have my grandson to watch tomorrow so I called our library to see if they had a story hour tomorrow. They don't but I did notice they had some computer classes. Gonna have to sign up for one (seriously) when I retire next week.

                It's all good...

                MMK is Minute Menu Kids. It's the software you use for the food program. It also has accounting capabilities.

                I only know what I know about computers because at some point I clicked something I shouldn't and had to figure out how to fix it.

                  That's what my daughter tells me. She says "Don't be afraid to just click something." She is self taught. I think she spent all her teenage years glued to a computer screen. It paid off as she now works in the industry and has had no formal training. Makes good money too in internet security at her company. Started as a call center operator.
