What to do with older kids at naptime?

As summer approaches, my daily will schedule will shift into new territory. Right now I have a group of nappers while older children attend school, but once school lets out I'll have 3 kids daily who won't nap at all. What do others do with school-age kids during a two-hour midday window for napping? (I have a separate nap room, but the kids can't be bouncing off the walls.) Do you have daily themes for naptime activities (Paint Time, Game Time, etc.) that work? Feedback and ideas are welcome and appreciated.

They're required to be quiet here. They can watch a movie, read or play with individual electronics.

Getting out crafts I do only sometimes - same with coloring - because they do it together, so it encourages chatter, which eventually leads to horsing around, which doesn't allow me to decompress from the morning and also wakes up the nappers = totally stressed out provider

      How old are the non-nappers?

Some thing I can think of: board games, puzzles, books, listening to audio books, art, baking/cooking.

Without my assistant the summer nap schedule is:

30-40 minutes of SSR (silent sustained reading) this allows me to get the littles down QUIETLY . It also goes on their book log for the summer reading program.

30-40 minutes of educational electronic time. (they get this *if* they were quiet)

30 minutes outside time (SA kids can legally be outside without me)

I will give them their PM snack before I get the littles up since I don't have table space for all.

When my assistant is here she will take them to the park or playground right after lunch for an hour or so - then they come back, do the SSR and electronic time.

But this is the last summer I will be taking SA kids and I'm happyfacehappyfacehappyface

The sa kids may play in the playroom if they can do it quietly . If not then they can read , color , draw , play cards . Some have I pods / tablets that they may be allowed to play
