    Question for Cake Users

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get to the body check part of the program. I went back and watched the tutorial but I have a feeling that the program has had updates and the tutorials have not had any updates because I follow what the tutorial says but I do not have that option. I am a Cake member, if that makes a difference.

The tutorial says it's in the Class Sign In/Out part of the program but when I right click I don't see that option (or many of the options that the tutorial shows).

I stumbled on it once, but now I can't figure out how to get back to it. Their website and apps are SO confusing.

      :: Yep, I agree.

So much for awesome customer service. I emailed them back and forth a few times letting them know that I did watch the tutorials and that I did not see anything that helped me and they just keep referring me to the tutorials

I know I saw it on the actual website... but I have no idea how to get to it.

On the Cake site it says that you can access it through the Class app, but when I log in and then try to enter my pin, it says Try Again. The pin I'm entering is the same as the one under my staff profile on Cake Desktop.

The "Body Check" part. While I was watching the tutorial that shows you how to manually check child in and out through Cake desktop you are supposed to be able to right click on a child that is signed in and get an option that says Body Check but I don't have it. It should be a pop up window that allows you to identify any marks on a child when they arrive or if they get hurt etc.

It's in the Learning Center tutorial Cake Desktop 12/14 - Class (Sign In & Out) about 1:00 into it.

In Cake Desktop or the app?

Yeah the desktop. I'm going through all of the tutorials again to see if I missed something. Maybe I didn't link it right.

I'm sorry I am no help. I downloaded and used the i-pad version of the in/out kiosk. I didn't use the desktop version.

I want to figure this stuff out as the program DOES seem to be useful but I just haven't had time lately.

That sounds like a great addition to sign-in time.

I recently added a form for parents to inform me if their child has taken meds in the 24 hours previous to coming to my house. I had so many people telling me at the end of the day (or days later) that their child had taken such-and-such every night lately. Drives me crazy that I didn't know.

Hmm. Have to think on how I could incorporate this into sign-in time
Previous meds + any marks/injuries, with the parent signature to confirm it all

No worries. It's only day 2 of me trying it out. I learned a few new things and figured out a couple of other issues but there are still 2 things I didn't figure out yet. I'm going through the tutorials step by step this time to make sure that I am doing things correctly so there's that.

I don't have an iPad, I have a tablet and Android phone. The phone app doesn't seem to be responsive on my phone but I haven't gotten to try to use it on my tablet yet, I'm not there yet though so I'll keep taking it one step at a time .

I was hoping that it would automatically add late payment fees but it doesn't seem to have that either. No biggie. I see on the website that Android devices are supported but I don't think they're working right, crossing my fingers.

The only place I have access to the body check is when I go to Cake Class. I don't have it on the desktop or anywhere else :-)

If you are having trouble logging in, go to your Cake Desktop and see what your password is under your own information.

                            The response I got...

                            Hi there B,

We have moved the body check feature to Class Kiosk as shown in this video tutorial:

The Class Kiosk itself has been temporarily disabled. Our App team is redesigning it to become a web-app so that Android users will have access to it and you can do it on your web-browser as well.

Does this answer your question? Please let me know if you have anymore questions, comments or concerns. Also, do not forget that we have many useful video tutorials that is accessible through Cake Desktop's "Help" tab or our Learning Center on the website: https://cakechildcare.com/cms/view/l...e-new-facility
As always we hope you continue to have a great experience with us.
                            Cake's Support Team,

Yep, I got an answer on FB yesterday with this info so thank you. I'm an android user so I don't have the Kiosk option or the Class option. They're making both to be web based instead of app based so that us android users can use it too
