little boy who will be 3 next week, drawing with chalk outside:
"Dis a BOLCANO *explodey noises* see the lala?" (lala=lava)"

He had drawn a vaguely volcano-y shape, and like a cutaway drawing (that I know he's never seen, he's mine, ) drew lava under the mountain and a column of lava going up and exploding out.

"Dis a WHOLE ditdee (city)," indicating everythign he and dcb5 had drawn, "see da bolcanos, da lala, and da playgrounds? Dis my ditdee. Need more bolcanos."

The cutest thing I've heard all day was from the mouth of the mother of my biggest troublemaking child. She said "I'm picking up early today!" Which we all know is code for one minute before close.

LOL I heard something similar today and it DOES indicate that pick up will be a bit earlier. Cool!


Love the cute little sayings. I have been told I love you all morning. Otherwise, there has been A LOT of crying (difficult with transitions kids), A LOT of disobeying, and A LOT of whinese. They were gifted with some extra outdoor time and that seemed to really help.
