    Help! Water Boil Notice!

Apparently our water has tested positive for e coli for the last three days and they just announced it and issued a water boil notice. Obviously we have been drinking the water today.

Parents started calling and texting to let me know, which I appreciate. But now what? Do I need to send home paperwork like I do when their child is exposed to something (like chicken pox, hfmd etc)? They have obviously been exposed at home and I don't want to "admit guilt" by saying they were exposed here and open myself up to something if the child got sick.
    Wwyd?

Since it's city-wide, I don't think it's something you have to worry about liability wise. I would boil from here on out, and let the parents know in an offhand manner at pickup. Let them know about it and that you began boiling water as soon as the warning was issued.

    That's stressful :/
