The other's have already given you a good idea on how to handle the money part.

As far as the alleged "abuse" by your husband, no one will take it seriously for one second. Why? Because they continued to bring their children to you for a MONTH after the "incident'.

Call you regulator, if you have one. Otherwise, document every thing you can remember.

Don't let this bully get his way by bullying...

Of course, putting GIRLS panties on a boy is terribly degrading, right? Because, after all, girls have so much less value than boys. Now, if his daughter had been sent home in boys underwear, that would have been fine, eh?

      Ditto everyone else.

plus do NOT answer any calls or the door for these people. Everything in writing with delivery confirmation so you know they received it. Document it all and if they don't pay up, take them to court. Done.

I had to send a girl home in boys underware once. Dad called all mad. NEVER do that again just leave her bottom naked.. and the clincher she was in a dress. I said 1 you need to have spares in her cubby and next time I will gladly call you at work to come get her then and may I have the underware back please... they gave notice. Went to a center that said she would be behind if she did not go to a center. ... then the fool said did you know she can spell her name??? I said yes I taught her a year ago.

          I agree with the others.

Send him a certified letter with a. Copy of he contract underlining they are responsible for spare clothes as well as a two week notice.

Include a bill for he one week of care ALREADY RECEIVED. As well as two weeks for both kids for he notice period. If you have late fees, do something like "a balance of xxxx is due before yyyyy and after yyyy then zzzz in late fees are added.
