Yay For The Long Weekend!

I'm looking forward to this long weekend! It's going to be a rainy weekend but oh well!

I am closing at 1:00 today. We had planned a camping trip that we ended up cancelling last minute because it will be a complete wash out. I am still closing early though.

We have a few other ideas for things to do this weekend. Monday is supposed to be beautiful here so at least we'll have one nice day! Maybe a drive to the beach or a day at the gorge, which my kids love

Anyone have anything fun planned?

We are planting our garden and hopefully getting some kayaking in.

DH and I bought a pair of Kayaks and have decided to take it up...

...like we don't already have enough hobbies we can't find time for.. ::

Its supposed to be mid 90s to 100 here this weekend.
We have friends coming into town and I cannot wait to close today at 530.
Our plans consist of:
going to the luxury cinema
going out to dinner
spending a day at the river on a boat
going to a minor league baseball game

Its going to be amazing!

We are finishing up a remodel on a bathroom. Then I might paint my daughters room. ( you know how when something get redone every thing else looks shabby?) Our taxes got messed up big time this year so we have to stay close to the house. No trips for us until football season.

Can't wait!!! It will be nice to take it easy and maybe get a nap in. We are planting our garden, too and doing stuff around the yard. It's a shame about the weather this weekend, but who knows, they have been wrong before!

Exactly! We postponed our camping trip in case it actually is a wash out because camping with 3 wet and muddy kids and a wet and muddy dog is never fun ::

Not to brag, but we are going to have an awesome weekend, weather related. Tomorrow my daughters bday party, and then off to finish planting the garden (which is work let me tell you). Other then that...relaxing sounds soooooo good.

I will be more than happy to have a drama free weekend. 23 year old bipolar son is having a really hard time and it looks like my 13 yr old bichon that I love dearly, has developed frequent mini seizures and is not doing great. So if nothing out of the ordinary happens this weekend, I will be happy. Can't wait for 5. Going straight into my jammies and I just might stay that way until Tuesday morning, .

I'll be open Monday, but we have a huge vacation to Disney World planned in October, so I'm not sad

Sooooo glad for a long weekend and It's supposed to be decent here!
I'm meeting my mom tonight-she lives 2 hours away and is taking my dd and my 2 nieces up north where she lives for the weekend so my sis and I are meeting her half way. We are going to have dinner with her then my sis and I are going to go to the casino! Only spending $20 on the nickel machines...

Dh has to work Sat and Sun so we'll stick around, but may go to my in laws lake house over night on Sun or might hang out with our neighbors-we have neighborhood bbq's every once in a while.

Not the best weather here this weekend. But IL's took our kids overnight and DH and I are going out to a restaurant we both likehappyface

Plus I have to get ready for DD's Harry Potter themed birthday party next weekend
