It's Gonna Be A LOOOOONG Week!

Happy Monday everyone! All four dck's came in with runny noses this morning!

I have 2 families with 2 kids each, and the families are best friends with each other, so these kids spend most of their time together, even when they're not at my house. So, when one gets sick, I can bet they'll all get it. Friday afternoon when they left, everyone was fine, now I have 4 snotty noses to contend with, and try not to spread to me and my family - lovely! Especially with the holiday weekend coming up!

Better go check my stock of Clorox wipes!

    Thanks for letting me vent!

That ****s but on the plus side it may just be seasonal allergies. I know the pollen count has been off the charts here.

bklsmum - I really wish that was the case, but I highly doubt it. The pollen counts here in Ohio had been super high for a couple of weeks, but for the last week and a half or so have gone back down to moderate level. Not likely that their allergies would flare up after pollen levels come down.

I'll just have to try to keep the contamination to a minimum, . My hubby is diabetic & has high blood pressure, so if he catches a cold there is very little he can take as far as cold medicine goes.

I have a mom who is an environmentalist and her child has allergies. She said the pollen count is low but the mold in the air lately is horrendous and her DS is having all sorts of "cold-like" symptoms.

My DH is also a diabetic (Type 1) so I TOTALLY understand the whole not being able to take anything when sick thing so we are very careful about not allowing kids to be here sick so he doesn't catch anything too.

He ups his Vitamin C intake every time one of the DCK's shows signs of potentially being sick.

Blackcat, I guess it could be mold, I hadn't thought of that. But really, all 4 of them? Even the 7 month old?

If it stays clear then it is likely allergies. If it becomes thick, yellow or green it is a cold
