    Advice Please...

Day 2 with DCB2.5 high octane, lacking in coherent speech, acts like he can't hear you when you say his name, tries to climb on everything, tries to bite his 1.5 sister, toy snatcher, doesn't play with well the others, runs from you, will not nap, will not be quiet so others can nap, will not stay in bed, everything you can think of..., he does. If you are right over him, he is better. When you are not he isn't. Time outs are useless, he gets up afterwards & does it again. Act like he has no structure at all & acts out for attention. Young parents & sister is a complete doll. They said they are going to have hearing check to rule that out. He reminds me of my own ADHD son.

I am trying to shadow & have him sleep away from others today. I've had others who have started out rough, but turned it around with consistency. Any advice here?

Just find out what he values and use that. What does he really like to do? How can it be used as a reward? He sounds challenging. Sorry

Sounds like my ADHD DCB too. THere are some good books, which, if your son has it, I'm sure you've read.
My DCB spends a lot of time (unfortunately) playing by himself. That's his currency here, he does NOT enjoy it, so that is our 'time out'. He can pick a toy or two and he has to sit near me with them. He can get up, go places, but he cannot play with anyone.
