About 15 yrs ago I started crocheting baby blankets at nap time.Sometimes I would do a row while they had free play.As baby siblings arrived I would make a blanket as a gift. The other kids always wanted one.So I made a blanket the size of the child who was leaving for preschool that year.We call it a warm hug from Nana(thats what they call me) .I always gave them photo books and a book. I just finished a blanket for a DCB I have had since he was 12 weeks old.He is off to kindergarten in the fall. He is excited that I made it for him .His brother got one 2 years ago.I will still have his sister here. Nan
