    Anyone Have the Ikea Easel?

Anyone have this? There are no clips to hold the paper still. What do you use?
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I don't have the IKEA one but I do have one without clips to hold the papers so I stole these from my DH's woodshop....they work perfect and are super inexpensive.

I have it. I use the clips like BC suggested or tape when we use small paper or I'm out of a roll but usually I just attach a large roll of paper (there is a spot behind the tray) then pull it up between the two panels and over onto the painting side then cut it off when they are done and pull the next sheet. (if that makes any sense ! )

I have it. I don't use the chalkboard or white board but use it with clips from the other easel I have. You could probably use clips similar to the ones that are used to close chip bags.

I tied a piece of string around the front of it at the top and then used clothespins.

You just reminded me ... I need an IKEA road trip! The nearest one to me is 3 hours away.

Gah! I have a list of about 20 things I need. Same situation, I have 2 stores near me... 2.5 hours and 3 hours away. Yuck.

I've never used an easel as we had one in a school I worked in and paint runs down the drawing. Another teacher decided to experiment and used an old long coffee table that they could stand at and paint and it worked beautifully. I do wonder why they would sell them without clips though. This post makes me wanna go to Ikea though!

I have that easel. I actually took apart and screwed the white board and chalk board separately on my preschool wall. I had an crawling infant try to climb it and it fell. I actually have two easels that i have done that with.
