im so torn whether I should give my parents 2 weeks or a month notice. I have one family that one child is 16 month and I know its harder to find care for them. Im so upset over this and dreading telling them. I adore this family and am going to miss the baby so much. We are closing in 7 weeks.

I would give as much warning as you can. A month seems reasonable to me.

Personally, I'd give the whole 7 weeks' notice.

I have in my contract that I give 3 weeks notice but I am giving my families 4 weeks. Personally, I think 2 weeks would leave them feeling frantic trying to find new care. 4 weeks is doable.
