    I Hate To Rain On This Family's Parade But It Is Becoming Obvious......

    I do have an assessment that I do on the 2yos that I do again when they turn 3yo so the parents can see their progress. I could do that and then point out how he seems behind.

    When my son was in home daycare, that was how we discovered he had a speech issue. I had no clue. The daycare owner told us she thought he should be looked at, his words sounded a little slurred. She was right; he got the help he needed, and now he talks great at the age of 6.

    I wouldn't feel bad about telling dcp's what you notice.

      sometimes we are the ones that notice it. Because we are with kids all day we can pick things out. I have a dcb who had a speech problem, so I told mom to keep bothering the dr to have his ears looked at considering he had alot of ear infections. Well, he got tubes in, and the difference from last year is amazing, holy amazing.
