    it happens. just like any work environment really. parents = coworkers/boss.
    we can click with a child but not the parent and vice versa -- we click with the parent and not with the kids, at all! but when we click with both, ahhhh --- BLISS! wishing you all the best. and {{HUGS!}}

      I just remind myself that everybody is weird. Only every so often do you get somebody that is the same kind of weird as you. When it happens, it's golden. :: I have one mom that I am not clicking with at all. I have tossed around terming based on her lack of communication, eye contact, etc., (huge pet peeve of mine), but I always end up back at the point that everybody is weird. I don't know what she's thinking and it freaks me out. But her child wouldn't be here 45/50 hours a week if she didn't like it here, I guess.

      Shrug it off unless it's beyond what you can really handle.

        Totally fake it!
        I get where you're coming from.....It doesn't feel right, or complete, especially considering we are working so closely with someone as important as their child, but I didn't always care for my children's teachers either. I respected them, and tanked them for their time, patience, and knowledge, but after my child graduated to the next class, we moved on.
        Maybe this falls into that tough category of business/friendship line again.
