Honestly I wouldn't. The no parking zone is there for a reason. If the parents think it shouldn't be, then bring it up with the proper authorities to change it. I have a no parking zone in front of my house and the parents from the school across the street use it. I don't appreciate it since i pay for it and they get out of their car and are gone so unfortunately I can't side with you that it's ok to park in the no parking zone, but it doesn't give her right to act like that either. Let it go and don't use it or work to get something changed so you all can use that area.

I spoke with my relative who is the under sheriff in our county. I was NOT illegally parked. The car was running and I was standing. Completely legal. Her actions, blocking my vehicle (which she had to go out of her way to do, as I was in no way blocking the road) was illegal, and since she has been doing it to other parents rises to the level of harassment. I am so glad I called to check.

Oh, and the sign is for the middle/high school students. I am going to work with the authorities to get an approved loading/unloading zone as there is no valid reason it can't be since it safely been so for years::

Ahh, makes sense. I forget about states that use "standing zones", we have them but we don't call them that. I read "no parking" in OP and that usually means no stopping, parking or standing.

I'm glad you've decided to try to change the parking zone, if it's approved things will be much better for all parents.
