DCK Influencing Daughter

Small little vent....
My dcb 2.6 yo ****s him thumb all the time. My daughter does not and still uses nuk at night...about to break that habit after christmas.
Lately my daughter has started to **** her thumb because she watches dcb.
I have now been taking his and her thumb out of his/her mouth and saying "yucky."
Has anyone had similar situation and how do you handle it?
If the parents are okay with it that is one thing but I dont want to influence the rest of the daycare.

One of my sons ****ed his thumb for 4 years. I should have given him a paci when he was little. Anyway, if your dd will keep a bandaid on her thumb that could work.

Wash their hands each time, or have them wash their hands. They will earn that thumb****ing = stop what you are doing and hassle with the soap and water.
