    Essential Oils

Do any of you use essential oils with the daycare kids? Not topical or internal just defused into the air. Did your parents have a problem? Did you send out a notice?

It isn't good to continuously use the same ones all of the time but I DO diffuse a calming child blend when they are rowdy or a SAFE anti-germ/anti-congestion blend recipe (NO peppermint or eucalyptus) that I got from learningabouteos.com.

    No notice to parents.

Why don't you use peppermint or eucalyptus? I couldn't get the link to work and I'd like the anti-congestion blend.

Thank you for that link! I have been interested in essential oils for a while personally not necessarily at dc.

I dont have a diffuser but if i did, i would use it and dont feel the need to tell parents. If they ask, i would tell them but I don't see why they would need to know beforehand. I don't ask parents permission to use specific cleaners and whatnot.

I currently use DoTERRAs OnGuard multipurpose cleaner which is made from oils.

Info. attached. Safe ages can be found on that website...she takes her info from leading expert Robert Tisserand (he does not sell EOs so no marketing gimicks!).

I diffuse a rotation of OnGuard, Serenity, and Balance. I have never sent out a notice.I have used DoTerra's Breathe on a toddler before, to help with a cough, with the parents consent.
