I've had 3 inductions- my first was a "perfect" one- labor was painless (thank you epidural!) and I pushed about a 1/2 hour. My second and third were also induced- both times once my water broke (both times by a dr.) I delivered within 5 minutes. Like, I was standing and then <gush> and felt the immediate need to push. My 2nd, they had just checked me at 5cm, then I delievered 15 mins later. I was delivered by nurses BOTH times. My doctor couldn't make it in time. So I am scared to DEATH to ever have my water break naturally now!

No one wants to have a baby on the front lawn. Just stay inside, on your bed.
That's where I'll be having my 3rd (first while in fcc) in February 2015. Undecided on how much time to take.- Flag

Not to hijack the thread, but were your 5th and 6th deliveries fast too, despite being induced? I'm due in August with our 3rd. My first labor was induced and it was 4 1/2 hours (which I hear is fast for an induction). My second labor was only 1 hour long....we barely made it to the hospital in time. My doctor was thinking about induction for the third, but not sure. I'm majorly worried we might not make it in time. Despite everyone telling me how "lucky" I was for a fast labor, I found it extremely unpleasant and shocking. I've heard subsequent labors are quicker.- Flag

I continued my AFLAC after leaving my job, with the intention of having more kiddos. I pay for it in full myself each month.
But our credit unions and some imsurance companies offer it to their members so maybe that is a way to get it.
