    Oh, I'm sorry.... I was thinking handbook/contract as one unit. I didn't realize it was two separate things.

    Still not YOUR problem that she failed to be an adult and read (or listen) to something she agreed to.

    The good news is once you do enforce a policy like this, you rarely have to do it again as she now knows you are serious.

      BC, I should have worded my original post differently. The contract is a financial agreement, not the entire handbook
