Any tips to find a Health Consultant?

The QRIS level II requires you to hire a health consultant.
    They are expensive to hire!
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to find one at a cheap rate, or any loop holes on how to acquire one without the expense?

Maybe check with your health insurance company? I know that ours has a nurse hotline that we can call at anytime.

Do you have a local child care resource and referral agency? That is where my health care consultant is from...she is a RN who works there & can be hired as our health care consultant for a relatively minor fee. Even if they don't employ a nurse they may be able to refer you to someone.

I use the local pediatrician. I didn't necessarily have to hire him, just make sure I had someone I could contact for questions and him reply back. He occasionally will give me quality info to add to my parent resource center.
