I Have Awesome Daycare Parents!!

I don't know what I did to deserve such great daycare parents! In the past I have had a handful of not so great parents to work with, but currently, the majority of my parents are so great!!

One of my DCMs sends me frequent emails telling me how much she enjoys the pictures I posted on our blog and thanking me for everything I do. I don't get to see her very often since DCD does all the drop offs and pick ups. So anyway, I've never felt more appreciated by a family before as I do with them!!

Another one of my DCMs totally made my day today... I had to close daycare yesterday because I was sick with the flu and I do not charge for the days that I am closed because of an illness. Well, DCM shows up today with a full weeks payment even though I told her to take $30 off. She told me "I refuse to pay you less. We so appreciate everything you do for dcb and if we were millionaires I would pay you even more!"

And then another one of my DCMs is always so nice to talk with and has given my name out so many times.. I have gotten several calls from families referred to me by her!

That is incredible! I love when daycare parents are nice and understanding.

I have only one child here and here parents are wonderful and really understanding. I'm so grateful that I have them. :hug:

We had a free field trip to the zoo today. I had an awesome parent give $40 so the kids could do some activities there. We didn't need it so she told us to use it for the kids next week. I am truly blessed to have a class full of parents like this.

You’re probably an awesome provider who has great policies and enforce them.

I am coming to the conclusion I am a lousy provider with no communication skills because obviously I don’t type or speak English. I am too attached to the children in my care. And recently I have two sets of families who are pushing boundaries and I am about to having a coming to terming notice with both DCFs.
