    attendance sheets

I have 1 dcm who never signs the attendance sheet . She knows she has to per our contract and state regs . She never drops off or picks up dcb , I have told the people dropping off and picking up that she needs to do this . Dcb has been here 6 weeks and so far she has only come once to drop off the first week .
I have decided that she has to either come once a week to sign or write a letter giving permission for a family member to sign the attendance sheet . I wrote up letter and sent it home with dcb letting her know her 2 options and gave a date by which I must have the letter. If I do not get a letter or any response then I will refuse care for dcb .

I know it is my fault for letting it go for so long . But i am tired of trying so hard to work with this family . I think that maybe there is something going on at home that the family is not telling me about .
    But enough is enough.

Why can't those dropping off or picking up sign the child in and out?? That's what I do. It doesn't matter that mom is on the contract, if she isn't dropping off or picking up she shouldn't be he one signing the child in and out? If mom comes once a week how is she going to know exactly when he child was dropped off or picked up?

wondering the same things… unless you are referring to some state subsidy form that she is required to sign?? If its just your attendance record it should be signed by the people who are dropping off and picking up, not the mom who wasn't there. And I assume you have permission for the child to be released to the people who are picking up??

The 3 different people who pick up or drop off do not want to sign .

My regs state that parents / guardians must sign . I just do not want the dcm to have any excuses for anything . This is the dcm who I have been having payment , dope and drop issues with .

I charge for each incident of not signing in or out.

I am required BY LAW to have parent signatures.

If they don't want to sign in/out or the people they have represent them, then I am not the right fit for them.

If they don't want to sign, refuse care.
