Wow legomom. That is a great idea since she is thinking of making this change over Christmas when the parents might also have the added expense of gifts.

I dont want to make the change until after Christmas. I do not want to make things difficult for my daycare families. I just was thinking about doing it at some point and wanted to know how it works for people that do it already and how they make the change.

Jan. 1st sounds like a good time and it gives plenty of advance notice.

      Thanks for the thoughts

What if you transition it slowly? Pay Friday this week, Thursday next week, etc? It would work up to being paid Monday.

ETA: Just noticed someone already said this. LOL

I have my families pay me every Monday for the week of service (ahead of time). Works great.

Sounds like this works well, so I shall see what my daycare families say about it, but I wont change it until Jan. 1st.

              Thanks again for the insight
