Daily Organization System - Help!

Would you get all three of these or two of one? Is one more useful than the other? I was thinking the corkboard for daily drawing/art, the dry erase board for lessons at circle time and then the chalkboard for their fun. It is for a 6 kid pre-k in the near future. I plan on having a large fabric-covered corkboard for the other side of the room for the calendar, monthly activities, etc.

Here is the pic of the room. I am planning to take the suggestion of another provider posting and move the table/chairs up to where my current kitchen table is located. This will be a small house-keeping/easel section...

The wall is 88 inches from the edge to the light switch, so there is plenty of room for 3 of them (72 inches total).

I would get a huge cork board and you can cover it with paper or material- I think you need more real estate for kids work then you do writing space. plus you can always post notes to the bulletin board

A chalkboard you would want at a kid level.

I love the way they all look together. But if you're going to have a cork board on the other side of the room, wouldn't that take care of one of those boards' functions? Too bad you couldn't make one into a magnet board.

My only other comment(besides I really do like them!!) is I can foresee them using chalk and/or dry erase markers(unless they have no access to them)on the other boards since they're so close. Course I'm basing my thoughts on a couple of the kids *I* have.

Hmmmm...I see your points. I think then, I would just get two of the dry erase boards. The cork board would be for the daily drawings that they do (thinking of the 3 girls I have - right now I have their work taped up on my windows!) The large fabric covered cork board on the other side of the room would be more of a permanent situation with the monthly calendar and special themed projects.

I really like how they have the shelves at the bottom for organizational purposes. The kids really like to use the window markers on the patio doors (got use through winter, actually!), but only one opens at a time as the screen door covers the other. There was always a line!

Thinking I may get the pegs as shown in the last pic for dress-up clothes. The kitchen would be facing the kitchen at one end and an "office/telephone station" at the other end.

Wouldn't the pushpins be an issue? Or will these boards be up out of kids reach?
You could do two dry erase or two chalkboards, and use poster putty for putting up art work.
