    Provider Fill-in

One of my provider friends is out on maternity leave, I am helping one of her families out for this week. It's a 2 yr old girl, the dad texts last night and says he'll be here around 8am. I get a text at 7 saying it'll be closer to 9, then 9 comes and no one shows, get another text at 9:40 saying they are on their way. SO I texted back asking about pick up time assuming he'll need later since he didn't bring her at 8...nope pick up is 4!! I wish I could make my own hours like he does I would love my job everyday if I could ::

Awesome that he totally understands the concept of late drop off not equating to late pick up.

If a family schedules with me to drop off at 8:00 and pick up at 4:00, they can drop off ANY time between 8-3:45 but they still have to pick up at 4:00.

Sounds like your provider friend did a good job "training" this family. .. ::

Super nice of you to help her out too!

I have a family like that. DCD is self employed and DCM has a very nice job that is salaried - she makes her own hours but has to get it done. I watch their 5yo Kindergartener after school 3:10-5pm and on spring break they picked up everyday around 2-3pm. It was AWESOME happyface
