Update......
I told dcm that I could not watch her child on Tuesday bc I asked all the families for their schedule the previous week and since no one needed care this Tuesday I went ahead and scheduled a doctors appointment. As I expected she tried to talk me into changing my mind. She told me she needed alone time with her older child and asked about my subs. I told her that had she told me the week before she was coming I could have scheduled a sub but at this late notice I would not do so.
It's hard to believe that she could be so cold. I, as many other people, have a lot going on in my life. I have always made sure not to have my problems affect others. This mom makes every "problem" she has a problem for me to solve. I'm glad I didn't cave on this one. Dcd dropped off this morning. I'm sure I will be getting a text or a request at pick up for care tomorrow and Friday bc she told me last week she wouldn't need those days. Lol!
