    Oh The Clueless Parent

Wednesday is my busiest day, I have 5 dck and my own two. Arou d 4, we were out in the front playing, and DCD (neighbours across the street) comes to pick up his 3.5 yr old DCB, with SA brother tagging along. Boy doesn't want to go, so dad hangs out for a bit. Then dad says he has to pop back home to speak to a service person they have at their house and disappears for 30 MINUTES,?!?!

I didn't feel it was right to send both kids home, across the street without the dad being aware I wasn't watching his kids anymore. Older boy (almost 6) is completely out of control. He misuses toys and plays more like an 8 or 9 yr old, as well as having an attitude. I was feeling completely overwhelmed, so finally we went into my backyard so everyone would be contained, and dad found yes there. Who does that??? I didnt say anything to him...I am closing down in the fall and would rather maintain our relationship rather than ruffle feathers sine everything is just temporary.

Wow! There is no way I would have allowed that! You need to nip that in the bud. "DCD, I can't have SA boy here during the day as it's against regulations. I could lose my day care license. Also, once you show to pick up, you need to pick up. It's just too confusing for the children when parents try to "yo-yo" in and out. Thanks for understanding!" All with a big

Cause I would not want to keep putting up with that until the Fall.

If it happens again that he has to "pop home", hand little one to Dad and say "OK, see you all tomorrow, then", and walk away.
