Does anyone know how long it takes to get licensed in Riverside County, CA? I am barely starting my process, and I have 2 people that are interested in me providing services before I even get my license, do you guys recommend this? Please advise.

Don't know about how long it takes in your county, but your second question, well, if they are urgent for daycare, I don't see any problem, just make sure you get all the right forms filled out, and advise you are in the process.

You can watch children from one family other than your own in california without a license. Once you go to an orientation you can set up a home inspection and then be licensed within days of that. You do need cpr and health and safety classes but as long as you have them scheduled you can get licensed without them being complete. In my area they hold orientations twice a month.
