Our allergist just put DD on Singulair to see if it will help with this sniffle she's had for 2 months now. I didn't think to ask at the appt how long before we should notice if it is working or not. Stuff I've read online says a week to a month. Does anyone have experience with Singulair for allergies and how long did it take to notice if it was working?
We are scheduled to see an ear, nose, and throat dr next week. The pediatrician wants to have DD's adenoids checked to see if that is causing the sniffling. Again, didn't think to ask at the appt how they check, so I looked it up online. It looks like they stick something in the nose. Do they numb the nose first? It seems like it would be super uncomfortable. Is it? I'm sure DD will handle it well. Not so sure about me
