    Why are you here??

4yo dcg is brought in again today by dad, NOT her scheduled day, putting me over my ratio. It's crazy busy, so it didn't register with me that she wasn't supposed to be here. Mom works 3rd shifts and sleeps during the day, her schedule changes but she signed up for M,W,F regardless. Texted mom and sent dcg home. I understand her position, but she must understand mine and this is not the first occurrence.

I had a "Why are you here moment" today...

I had a DCM show up an hour early today. I slightly open the door & ask "Can I help you?" She wanted to get breakfast before she went to work to which I replied, "You better hurry, I'll be here when you get back." I never opened the door any farther. The comment was worth the priceless work on her face.

An HOUR early!? Really!! That is so beyond rude!!! I just can't even fathom someone showing up here at 6 instead of 7! I would be pissed! I would say "make sure you get me something good for waking me up so early!" :: what a moron! So selfish and rude!! There's these things called a drive thru if you're really hungry and need to get breakfast on the go. Starbucks anyone?

Yikes! How did the mom respond? Was the dad working today or just decided to pawn the kid off?

I just decided an "in you face comment" with a smile, speaks volumes to people trying to take advantage of me. Sometimes I act like I don't know I'm offending them.

Is she a habitual early arrival?

Why did she think it was ok to even do that?

A couple times she was a few minutes early. One time she text to say she was going to stop by CVS before picking up DCB & I replied, "You got a 1/2 an hour. Ready. Set. Go!" (She knew that the $1 a minute was in 1/2 hour.)

Mom was totally fine with it. Dcg is really no trouble at all, and she knew it was her own fault for not checking with me first. Her mind gets a little wonky from working 3rds and going to school full time. Her and dcd are separated, he said he was just doing what dcm told him to do.
