I have only had to term ONE family, mom took is very personally against her child, even after a lot of reassurance from me it was not based on her child, it was financial and capacity reasons.

Similar situation here! We are moving school districts and my daughter will be going to the same school as a previous daycare girl. We left on horrible terms, the worst I have ever had...it's going to be really odd in August.

I termed twin boys a few years ago. Now my DD is in ALL sports activities with them. We see them at least once a week (if not more). I am cordial and say "hello, how are you?" and vice versa, but that's it. It is very awkward.
