Can dcg be dropped off at your house today? It will be at 12:40 and for less then an hour. I'm still at so and so's funeral service.

Text from former client who went from full time to part time once adoption on dcg was final and state no longer paid, then to nothing after she realized what she was going to be paying.
First thought was sure for $25, 2nd thought was really?? You still have issues planning ahead. Last thought and my response "sorry, I won't be able to take her on such short notice."

I had a little girl foster-to-adopt did the same thing. As soon as the adoption was final, parents went from full time to 1-3 days a week, never the same days. Yeah, that didn't last.
