Their kid isn't a whiny, complainy, bossy, tattle tailing kid long enough to annoy them because they just give in to them.
No more whiny, complainy, bossy, tattle tailing kid.
This is for sure! I (and I know the majority in here) are too stubborn to give in.
Pick up/drop off time is a bear lately.....I have a new girl who I haven't completely trained yet. Wait....let me add to that....trying to get the parents trained as well. happyface Wish me luck.

And don't you agree that usually the kids are much easier to train than the parents
That's usually the hardest parents to deal with too....
I find parents to be much harder than the kids.
Parents seem to need redirecting and reminding ten times more often than ANY kid I've ever cared for.
Currently, I am going insane trying to deal with an EXTREME helicopter mom, who is an older parent, has MASSIVE self-esteem issues and has a complete d-bag for a husband (yet, oddly...I can deal with him much easier than I can her) and she simply will NOT take anything I say at face value.
She dissects everything that is said and makes it something personal directed AT her ABOUT her.
It.is.the.most.exhausting.thing. I've ever done so far in this line of work.

I am right there with you. Got a parent right now who CHOSE to have a third child and has complained the entire time about "being broke if I charge full price for all" and how "tired she is"......I totally ignore "bad behavior" so therefore she is getting ignored as well. The kids turn into wild animals when she arrives/departs but not one problem throughout the day. ::

Ironically, she is the one who comes 3 days a week and wanted me to "expound" on "WHY" I needed to know well in advance if she wanted to use the other 2 days when I explained 11:00 pm the night before is NOT acceptable.
My bossiest dcg's parents wrote BOSSY on her intake form. They GET IT. Great clients and I rarely have an issue with the kid either.
The parent of the child who gushed over how sweet, polite and nice he was? Worst behaved kid here. Also here the longest during the day-they even pay for an hour of OT every day.

Go figure.
My worst behaved right now (2 actually...3.5 and 4.5) are described the same aY but parents NEVER spend days off with them and get mad if they are sick on their days off. :: I think parents know but want to pretend otherwise.
MOST of the parents leave "What do you see as your child/s weaknesses?" BLANK. Yup, because none of the have things that need improvement. Not even the non potty trained, binky, bottle and zero self help skills almost 4yo.
My poor ds's K teacher got the truth from me on his form and during his interview before school started. She said she was bracing herself for a little monster, since nobody ever says anything 'bad' about their own child but ds hasn't had a single behavior issue at school. Go figure! ::
