    Another Runabout Stroller Question

Ok, so I bought a used runabout quad stroller. It's not in quite as good condition as I'd hoped. The handle seems to be stuck in a very low position; I can't use it like that. I've unscrewed two black plastic things along the sides of it, that look like it should loosen it so you can pull up the handle, but I can't budge it. I've tried WD-40 and a mallet--no luck. Does anyone know if there's some other step I'm missing?

I'd hate to lose my investment in this stroller! I took a look at it and thought "oh, yeah, that handle raises up" without even trying it. Dumb!

Here is a user manual. Maybe it will help.

There are some really good illustrations about how it's put together so I bet you can figure it out from the pictures (it might even have directions...I didn't read the whole thing)

I think there may also be contact info for the manufacturer so that if all else fails you can at least maybe call them and ask.

Thank you. I did email them and ask (I promised a review here and elsewhere in exchange for info), but I haven't heard back yet.

I almost brought used. Then I had an interaction with a rep from the company and decided to save my pennies.

I hope you figure it out or it’s fixable. They mentioned a lot of used Runabouts are ruined by salt.

Oh, boy, I hope that's not the case!! I'm wishing I had posted here first to ask advice. It was hard to decide whether to buy, as it was far from home and I was deciding based on photos. I'm starting to regret it.
