"Why Do We NEVER Go Outside?!"

Sounds like he's just looking for a reaction. He's old enough to know why you are not going outside. I would stop responding to it and do as a previous poster suggested. Just give him a stern, "You know why!" look and go on with whatever I'm doing. If it turns into something more disruptive then consequences follow...- Flag

I'm patiently waiting for the weather to stop teasing us.
No, I lied. It's not patiently at all. If I dont' get these kids (and the dog) outside twice a day for at least an hour SOON I will put myself in a rocket and blast to Jupiter on the power of their restlessness.::

Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40's. Come Hell or high water, we WILL be outside!!- Flag

I have one that begs for movies all day long the same way. We watch movies on snow days or if we've been trapped in the house by rain for weeks, that's it. Anyway, I say once, "Asking for a movie is all done for today. I have answered that question." Then anytime she bugs after that I say, "Toys or timeout?" and give her the look. She is much better lately about bugging but she did do some sitting at the beginning of the month! Worth a shot for your DCB! It seems like a very similar bugging pattern.- Flag
