    "25 Historical Images That Normalize Breastfeeding"

    I've always been in the "cover up" camp, but these are awesome examples of mothers from the late 1800's and into the 1950's who didn't, because it was not expected of them back then. Love some of these pictures! So cute.

      So true, I do "cover up" but I have totally thought about how much easier it would be if it wasn't so taboo to not. More power to the women that embrace it, I think we as a culture do need to get over it and "be free".

        Cute!!
        What I find interesting is that all the pics seem to show "young" looking infants/toddlers.
        I don't think society has an issue with breastfeeding children that young.
        Put some pictures of moms nursing older children (2+) and I think you would see some more negativity.

          This is great! I only nursed for a few months with both my girls, but I love these photos showing everyday life of feeding a baby!
